In Parle à mon cul, ma tête est malade, Vivien, Olivier, and Emeric speak together to recount a shared journey, long lived in solitude: that of first emotions, first experiences, and the discovery of oneself as a gay man.
With humor and gentleness, they lend their voices to each other’s words to bring to life an interweaving of stories and testimonials. Memories that tell fragments of life, friendship, love, and fleeting encounters; anecdotes that recount moments of doubt and pride, bursts of shame and joy. Influenced by pop culture and the socio-political climate of the 2000s—between debates on “marriage for all” and Lady Gaga’s Born This Way—the play delves into the heart of intimacy to question the demands of masculinity and what we have learned to hide.
A tender and funny docu-fiction that celebrates friendship, desire, and self-acceptance.
