Born from a common desire to link their disciplines within a single dialogue, and more fully to question their own artistic practice, the work of Marie Delprat and Olive Lopez reflects a reflection on the body, their own body as women artists, what it transmits and translates of their personality, of their femininity.
Like any performative approach, the two performers make their bodies the primary tool of creation and to another extent, the very tool of an aesthetic of emancipation. Because if the work does not claim frontally a political militancy nor an explicitly feminist dimension, it does not leave less an impression of engagement by nuancing and displacing some signs and symbols proper to the manufacture of the female body.
