In a circular space, surrounded by the audience, Emma Saba builds an intimate and playful universe. Singing and dancing Mozart’s opera arias, she gives life to imaginary situations and characters. The dance is crossed by the memory of classical music. Male and female voices alternate in Emma’s mouth while the body reconstructs the rhythms, stories and emotions of the music. This dynamic leads to exasperation: blood begins to flow from her mouth, as the voice comes out in the singing of Voi che sapete to the audience - an iconic love song from Le nozze di Figaro.

At this point, the electronic music created by Marie Delprat intersects with the music from the overture to Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte. Emma Saba then begins to bring to life not only the stories in her memory, but also the objects on the edge of the stage. The manipulations of these objects begin to bring to life poetic images inspired by the imagery of domestic life and Chantal Akerman’s film Saute ma ville, ending with a figurative explosion of the room, echoing the end of the film.
