This is a true story. It takes place in the year 2112. You’re part of it.

We are in the Rhône watershed. We live in one or other of the three communities that make it up. We gather in the Terrâtre to pay tribute to the last of our grandmothers, born in 1990 and recently deceased. During the ceremony, our tongues loosen and a conflict erupts over the future of our stories.

What fictions are we living in? And which ones would we like to live in? Will we listen to the stories whispered to us by the Rhône? The play invites the audience to enter into a fable, a song, a joust, improvisations: a story-river where the power of the imagination is at work for a topical future.
