Daises Decline takes as its starting point the Czechoslovak film Daisies (1966) or Little Daisies by director Vera Chytilová. A duo of women with a flair for impertinence, a love of disorder and a questioning of the limits of propriety. They navigate between elegance and disgust, delicacy and coarseness. Two chipies whose power resonates through their complicity and the subtlety of their battles. As well as consuming to excess all the pleasures available to them, they are counterpoints and archetypes of the traditional representation of women.
Daisies Decline is a dancing duo, but first and foremost a mischievous celebration: two chipies daring to probe the limitless power of their complicity.
