With #rêveries, opera leaves its setting, permeates the walls, and spreads beyond the auditorium and its conventions! The Théâtre de Carouge opens up and invites the public to enter into the reflections of today’s youth, in the company of the musicians of the Cappella Mediterranea and under the maieutic guidance of the AGORA company.
For six months, four middle school classes have developed a space for expression around Jean-Jacques Rousseau, nature and opera. Two other primary school classes form the children’s choir present on stage. The ideas, artistic concepts and their realization were discussed during creative workshops, and implemented by the students with the help of the artists.
The final format is a stroll through different spaces of the Théâtre de Carouge, a theatrical and musical stroll that questions inequalities, the reign of appearances and the will to build a better world.
