Harvest golden apples at the end of the season. Put the apples in boxes, the damaged ones on one side, the good ones on the other. A whole youth is active in the orchard. The task is of great simplicity, a perfume of good will floats. Under the sharp pen of Pavel Priajko, young Belarusian playwright, this Harvest (2007) turns however into an existential headache. Unable to get along, Ira, Liouba, Egor and Valeri aggravate the situation. By choosing to adapt this work on a bare stage littered only with the pieces of an enigmatic mosaic, Sarah Eltschinger lays a fine powder of irony on the implacable mechanism. Struggling until the evening in random movements, attracted by the artificial lights of freedom, the four young people dance, dance to burn their wings.
