What does the school of our dreams look like? What and from whom do we want to learn? These are the questions the Henrike Iglesias collective asked themselves and founded the ACADEMY in 2017 in the Sophiensaele Berlin - the school they themselves would have liked to go to. The ACADEMY at ROXY is dedicated to the topic of disorder and chaos from feminist perspectives. Over two days, 60-minute free “school lessons” were led by inspiring teachers from a wide range of backgrounds: Who decides what is tidy and what is not? What power is there in the supposedly untidy, in chaos? Before and after class, the ACADEMY classroom with library, craft corner and a gift box is a place for exchange and mutual encouragement.
