Weekend Prolongé is a festival dedicated to the emergence of performing arts in Fribourg. Every year, in September, it allows artists beginning their career to meet and show their work to the public and professionals of our region. Its goal is to facilitate the integration of artists in the professional environment of the canton, while sensitizing them to the challenges of contemporary creation.
After a first edition crowned with success, Groupe Sauvage decided to open this new year to all artists who left school less than 5 years ago. A variety of forms could be discovered throughout the festival. François Gremaud, the first sponsor of Weekend Prolongé, generously contributed to the benevolent and generous atmosphere of this second edition.
